🔞 Minimum Age & ID Policy

• Minimum age: 18 years

• ID required: Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or government-issued card) must be shown at first visit

• No exceptions: We do not permit tanning for clients under 18, even with parental consent

⏱️ Session Duration & Frequency

• Beginners: Max 4 - 6 minutes

• Medium Tan: 6 - 9 minutes, depending on skin type and tanning history

• Advance Users: 9-12 Minutes

• Maximum session time 15 Minutes

• Max frequency: A minimum of 24 hours between sunbed sessions and at least 48 hours for clients with skin type 2

• Skin type assessment: All clients complete a brief skin type form before first session

🧴 Pre-Tan & Post-Tan Guidelines

• Before tanning:

  • Remove makeup, deodorant, and perfume

  • Avoid sun exposure or sunburn prior to session

  • Use Afterglow-approved tanning lotion for optimal results

• After tanning:

• Moisturize daily to maintain glow

• Avoid showering for 2–4 hours post-session

• Refrain from exfoliating for 24 hours

🛑 Contraindications & Restrictions

• We do not permit tanning for clients who:

• Are pregnant

• Are taking photosensitive medication

• Have recent tattoos or cosmetic procedures (within 2 weeks)

🧠 Client Responsibility & Waiver

• All clients must sign a tanning waiver acknowledging risks and agreeing to follow Afterglow’s safety protocols

• Clients are responsible for wearing protective eyewear (provided) during every session

• We reserve the right to refuse service if safety protocols are not followed

• Walk-ins are always welcome - New clients can submit their details and consent forms on arrival, and our team will enter everything into the system to keep your profile up to date.

⏳ Afterglow Buffer Time & Etiquette Policy

To maintain Afterglow’s signature calm, cleanliness, and luxury experience, a short buffer is scheduled between every appointment.

This ensures time for:

• Room ventilation

• Bed wipe-down

• Lotion restock and lighting reset

Clients are allocated:

• 3 minutes to change and prepare before their session

• 3 minutes to change and exit after their session

🧼 Post-Session Etiquette
Clients are kindly asked to use the wipes provided to clean the bed after use and leave the tanning room tidy. This helps us maintain Afterglow’s high standards of hygiene and presentation.

After each session, Afterglow staff will clean and reset the room to ensure it’s pristine and ready for the next guest.

Please arrive on time and exit promptly so we can uphold the smooth, sparkling experience our clients expect.
